Eligibility requirements for the Cashback Cards «CBWINALOT» prize draw

  1. The organizer of this prize draw is Swisscard AECS GmbH (in the following "Swisscard"), Neugasse 18, 8810 Horgen. The eligibility requirements detailed below apply. 
  2. 2.    The following natural persons are entered in the prize draw (in the following "participant"): new adult clients having their residence in Switzerland who apply electronically for a Cashback card duo (Cashback Cards) issued by Swisscard between November 17, and December 16, 2025 and who enter the promotion code "CBWINALOT" in the designated field during the application process, provided that Swisscard subsequently issues the card duo. The digital time stamp is decisive for the receipt of the application. Swisscard must have successfully verified the application by January 16, 2026.
  3. New clients are defined as adult principal card applicants whose place of residence is Switzerland and who do not yet have a Cashback card duo from Swisscard or have not had one in the last 18 months. Employees of Swisscard and any third parties hired by Swisscard in connection with the prize draw (including family members) are excluded from entering the prize draw.
  4. Every participant has a chance to win. Swisscard will draw the winners from all the participants at random. Multiple winnings are not possible. Swisscard will draw the winners by January 31, 2026 at the latest and will notify them in writing, electronically, or by telephone. Swisscard will contact the winners a maximum of 3 times within 7 days of the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within this period, the right to claim the prize will expire and a new winner will be drawn at random.
    The following prizes are available:
    1. 1 x credit to the Cashback Cards card account worth CHF 5,000.
    2. 5 x credit to the Cashback Cards card account worth CHF 1,000.
  5. In connection with the reporting regarding the prize draw, with the consent of the winners, Swisscard may publish, without payment, any photographs and videos taken by Swisscard, including personal details, on all channels (such as apps, the internet, social media, newsletters, etc.). The winners grant Swisscard the right to use and publish any such photographs or video material without restriction in terms of content, location or time.
  6. In all other respects, the legal notice and the data privacy policy apply, which are available at https://www.swisscard.ch/en/rechtlichebedingungen-hinweise . Swiss law applies.
  7. Taxes, fees or duties that may result from the win are to be paid by the winner. Prizes exceeding CHF 1,100 are subject to withholding tax. In the case of cash prizes, Swisscard deducts the statutory withholding tax (35%) from the winnings. The winner therefore receives 65% of the prize. In the case of prizes in kind, Swisscard reports the winner to the Swiss Federal Tax Administration, including the winner’s confirmation of residence. In this case, the winner undertakes to provide Swisscard with a current and official confirmation of residence in original form within 10 days of being notified of their win. If a winner fails to accept the prize or fails to provide a confirmation of residence, the prize will be forfeited without substitution and Swisscard will choose a new winner from among the participants.
  8. There will not be any correspondence regarding the prize draw and there is no right of appeal. A cash payment or a transfer of the prize is not possible. The promotion code cannot be used for any other campaigns. If a participant infringes these eligibility requirements or if they otherwise infringe any legal provisions, Swisscard will exclude them from entering the prize draw.
